There are times when in search of our dreams again
Unwittingly upon ourselves, we inflict pain
Situations and circumstances usually show us the way
Ways that open doors to unlock our potential in our fight to win
To rise above what once seemed insurrounmountable
Arriving at what becomes more than doable but attainable
There we achieve some of life’s greatest lessons,
As life’s processes and challenges bring us much-needed change,
Where we form the best version of who we aim to be
By embracing what once had dampened our spirits,
Now, creating new possibilities that highlight our abilities
With those God-given qualities that serve toward our successes
Finding resilience and tenacity to celebrate our progress
As time our teacher eventually brought it all together,
And to God, be the glory for the great things He has done!
