As some of us observed, lent, a period of fasting and praying, which can also be a time of renewal and focus; we owe ourselves to look beyond the surface of our daily lives. Doing so by using this time to replenish and gained the benefits of doing so through letting go. We clean our homes, cars, and areas we spend time at; it’s also vital to do a mental cleanse. Letting go of all toxicity hindrances from our conscious and subconscious to progress and ultimately be empowered. The Bible offers an in-depth insight into how to approach and filter the limitless information that comes at us during our waking hours. And brilliantly, we are reminded of God’s intent for us, so stated in this adjacent Bible passage. Deuteronomy 29: 11 “For I know the thought that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. So then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Even behind the toughness of life springs beauty, and like this rose against a concrete wall, it’s for us to see all of life’s beauties, wherever they are.
